![]() What is the program about?This short-term certificate provides in-depth, hands-on experiences in various areas of high-performance engines, an ideal choice to supplement a degree-seeking student wishing to specialize in the engine and fuel induction areas. Students will utilize Superflow and Mustang dynamometers during tuning as well as products from manufacturers such as Innovate Motorsports, AEM, Hypertech, and HP Tuners. The course covers carburation, electronic fuel injection tuning, nitrous oxide, superchargers, and turbochargers. ![]() ![]() Students perform all services utilizing industry standard equipment from companies like Sunnen, Rottler, Superflow, and others.Our AUT 2224 (High Performance Fuel Induction Systems) course focuses on the tuning aspect of engines. Our students gain knowledge and skill in the AUT 2221 (High Performance Engine Block & Heads) and AUT 2222 (High Performance Engine Assembly & Dyno Testing) courses on how to develop an engine plan based on intended use, analyze engine tear down, cleaning and inspection procedures, selection of engine components, machine to blueprint, and assembly of their own engine project.
